Yale Medical School Report

The Yale Report is a comprehensive study of Precision Heart AI’s ECN-DM cardiovascular diagnostic system. It provides a third-party opinion of its ability to change the landscape of cardiovascular diagnostics. With a sensitivity of 76% and a specificity of 88%, along with the verified 92% positive predictive value (PPV), no other non-invasive device currently marketed can make those claims.

The study observed that the technology appeared capable of detecting myocardial abnormalities across a broad spectrum of cardiovascular conditions, including cardiomyopathy, valvular heart disease, acute pulmonary embolism, cardiac tamponade, and ischemic heart disease.

As a screening tool, the ECN-DM score may be akin to a “check engine light” or a “pulse oximeter” for the heart. This is especially important when considering this technology for use by non-cardiologists. The ECN-DM algorithm is completely software derived from a standard ECG acquisition and it is being compared with advanced diagnostic blood tests and cardiac imaging modalities which require enormous capital expenditures (i.e., cardiac cath lab, nuclear stress camera) and highly trained professionals with years of experience.”
